The hunt for the perfect dress

Where do you even begin when it comes to searching for your perfect wedding dress? Some girls have a vision, the perfect dress has been in their minds since they were dressing up Barbie to marry Ken. For me, not so much. I had, of course, thought of what I might like; but I never lingered on the thought for fear I'd be jinxed! But after a fun filled Saturday of being taped, tucked, snapped, and clipped into far too big wedding dress, I have narrowed my search (well at least for now; next Saturday's dress shopping extravaganza may be another story!).

First we have the simple, yet oh-so-extravagant Jim Hjelm design, style no. 8663. This stunning Ivory Alencon lace over champagne charmeuse trumpet gown, sleeveless "V" neckline, natural waist accented with creme taffeta sash, and sweep train, stopped me in my tracks.... Absolutely stunning!

Next, (if you can't see my current obsession with lace) is another Jim Hjelm gown, style no. 8761
A White Silk Duchess Satin trumpet gown, strapless Alencon lace body skimming silhouette accented with satin ribbon, chapel train. So, So, So Beautiful!
