Lance and Ali - August 2009

It's probably one of the strangest feeling when you're boarding a red-eye to fly to New Hampshire where your little brother is getting married. That's right your LITTLE brother, not the littlest, but little none-the-less. Getting. Married. I can imagine that the only thing stranger (is that a word, in this context?) is when your own children get married, but really we aren't at that point in life yet so let's cross that bridge when we get there. I guess the only explanation is: we are growing up.

I could not have picked a better woman to suit my brother. Ali is articulate, intelligent, beautiful, kind-hearted, and just as adventurous as my brother. She fits into our family almost like she was born into it; but she wasn't so it's all okay....

I could lead into the photos with sweet words of adoration about their love and commitment but I think their pictures speak on the depth of their relationship.

Without further ado....

Blessings in your new life together Lance - my 'grown-up' little brother.

And Ali: Welcome, I have always wanted a sister.
